Who’s joining me for DecemBEARD? Just as Movember, DecemBEARD is created to keep supporting the fight against prostate cancer.

So that means you can be a real man when you go to your mother in law at Christmas! Your last shave has to be at November 30th, so you can get rid of your Movember moustache and start growing a beard for the whole month of DecemBEARD. I’ll post a daily pic of my growing beard at my own blog.

Sunday Skitch, Josine and I went to Amsterdam (well Skitch was already at Josine’s in Amsterdam since Friday) to be filmed for the new video for the band The Cut/Up. We had a lot of fun riding through the outer skirts of Amsterdam and being filmed. Being a video star is tough work! We had to do film several scenes tons of times, every time from a different angle etc. But why complain when you get to go to Amsterdam at the expense of the band and ride all day when the sun is out!

In a recent meeting with Tjeerd and Le Haute, we decided the content on FUCCIT needed to be more bike related etc.
As you might have noticed already, I’m a sneakerfreaker, a trainer head. So I won’t be posting anymore sneakers here on FUCCIT, but if you still like to see what I find interesting new releases, go to my personal blog: Votske™ Loves Ass!

At Mantel, I got this really handy SKS bottle cage adapter. Well, I think it will be handy. With the easy release system, you can switch it between bikes, just strap it to your seatpost and you’re done. When I go fixed gear mountain biking with Tjeerd and Le Haute, I can put it on the 700CMX and have something to drink during the ride too! Tomorrow I have to be in Nijmegen again, only this time a bit further south. So if I can find the place in one go, I’ll have a +/- 50km ride to test the thing! Let’s see if the system really works…

Yesterday, Skitch, our sponsor Wouter and I went for some fixed gear mountain biking. Well, Mr. Brainwash was on his normal mountain bike, but who cares? These pics were taken half way, so you can imagine how they’re looking right now. In the end we did a 77km ride, most of it being off road, muddy or soft sand mountain bike routes on the Veluwe.
My legs and arse are killing me right now, but it was lots of fun!

P.S. If you ever go riding with these boys, and they say they know a shortcut, DON’T trust them!
