You might have missed my posts this weekend, or maybe you didn’t…
But this weekend I went to ride with the 24K boys in Rotterdam. And I have to say, Rotterdam is the best town in Holland to ride! I lost my heart in Roffa, it’s just like coming home. The people, the atmosphere, the vibe, it’s love at first sight! If I didn’t have to be in Arnhem this morning, I would have been couch surfing in Rotterdam for the next week…
So a BIG shout out to Roy (thank you for crashing in the shop, showing me the spots and the lovely ladies Roffa has to offer), Oli (pic creds and this boy can ride!), Milan (funniest photographer you’ll meet, and thank you for the ristretto), Leela (loveliest lady you’ll see shredding on her new trick bike), John (the friendly giant), Frank (thank you for the free beers), the bmx kids that made me laugh and everybody that made my weekend so awesome!

Wheels were build by Jelle from Single Speed Central, I can really advice you to buy your wheels from him! They’re handbuild and I’ve seen him making mine, he builds them with extreme precision!

I’m sorry to disappoint you, but after being jobless for 5 months, I got a new full time job. This means I haven’t got all day to browse the world wide web to search for the latest fixed gear news or naked girls with bikes. Because in the time I don’t have to work, I still like to ride a bit for myself and keep a social life!
Good news is that MalleT is going to post again! And we’re still waiting for Skitch’s first post… So together with Kylee’s posts, you will still get a nice and interesting blog to follow!

I think we can say the Arnhem Uphill Alleycat was a great succes! I had a great time being 2 checkpoints and being the “arsehole” that wanted to see everybody’s marble, flyer and manifest before they could get their sticker! After the race Skitch, Pieter, Ab and another guy from Utrecht (sorry, I didn’t get your name) went to check some secret dirts in the woods close to my last checkpoint, and the dirts looked great! No 700cmx material, that was a shame… Funny thing was the naked guy walking through the woods, acting like it was totally normal…
After the race we all had pizza and drank lot’s of beer, all for the good cause!
Le Haute had an auction for the same good cause (Tour for Life) as well, and I got a really nice sticker collection. Followed by more beer drinking for the good cause…
