Coast No Coast sounds like an epic ride!
Coast No Coast sounds like an epic ride!

According to weer.nl the weather is going to be fine on Sunday March 21st! Some of the Fuccit members are joining the AMS-RBX-PRS ride and a lot of the other riders need the training too. So for those who need the training, and for those who like to join us, I’m planning a 75-100km ride through Germany and the Posbank.
I know some people are coming from other cities, so we’re meeting at the Arnhem trainstation. Interested? React here or on the Facebook group!

Added information:
The ride is on! I talked to Schilham and our ideas are combined. The start will be at 9am at the Kerkplein in Arnhem. We’ll be riding to Elten and the Elterberg and back. Schilham will be our tourgide, cause he has riden this tour before. It will be a 50/60 km ride, so put the zeem into your spandex, or you will be riding for the “rode billetjes trui”! In Elten we’ll make a stop for coffee, sandwiches etc and back in Arnhem we can drink a beer or Fristi at MalleT’s favorite bar…
Next thursday, 21st of May it’s “Hemelvaartsdag” and traditionaly that means: dauwtrappen!
Last night I talked to Aden about this, and we thought it might be a good idea to bring this tradition back to life. And I’m not talking about walking around on our bare feet through wet grass, but about a nice little tour through the fields. Let’s say a +/-50 km ride to get some miles in the legs for the upcoming ECMC. No racing, just uptempo cruising, so everybody can join in, no matter age, bike or whatever. If enough people want to join in, I’m going to plan a route.
Since it’s a day off for most of us, and a lot of peolpe might want to sleep in a bit, I was thinking about starting the ride around 9am. And we can finish at a cafe or lunchroom for a nice cup of coffee, hot choco or tea (or beer for the early drinkers).
I was planning to put a poll here, but I can’t seem to figure out how to insert that… (So T, if you read this and can edit a poll into this post, you’re more than welcome to do so!)
So please mention in the comments if you want to ride, with 10 people saying yes, I’ll start planning a route.
Cheers,
Votske
