Vince got a new bike
This is the last movie you see of Vincent mountain biking with his old Subrosa. And at the end of the movie you see why, “NO BRAKES”. And mad respect for my friend Sam who took the hills like a pro on his single speed.
So I bought a new bike this friday. And although I was sick this week I wanted to make a test ride with my good friend. Maybe not the best idea as the video shows (or sounds). But still it was a great ride, Vincent on his fixed gear. And myself on my new Trek Gary Fisher Marlin single speed, soon to be fixed!
This might not be a singlespeed little movie, but it sure get’s me motivated to ride! This one’s for the people riding in Soesterhoogt today!
Charge‘s latest online video gives you a sneak preview of the 2011 Duster Mountain Bike range, as the slimmer prototype bikes get put through their paces.

It’s a shame I can’t make it to Soesterhoogt, but it’s time to head into the woods any time soon! Who’s joining me? FGMTB Style!
Vince and myself are doing some fixed gear mountain biking (although I’m a bit busy with work right now). But my good friend Angus put this clip on Facebook. And I remember the days (a couple of years ago) I did the same, freewheel mountain biking without breaks. And back then I told the guys that this would be the next big thing after al the fixie bullshit. But maybe we first have to start the fixed gear mountain bike shit up before going freewheel. Because you know we from FUCCIT are the trendsetters!
A little while ago i thought it would be a good idea to put a freewheel on my fixie. I’d miss placed the brakes so i had to run it without, this wasn’t a good idea as i ended up rapped myself round a tree. Anyway, i did manage to get a bit of footage before injury then bad weather stopped play. It is what it is, whatever that is! A bit of fun on a 700c…
And ‘some’ proof from me riding freewheel no brakes mountainbiking. And yes that kid in front of me went faster!

And I always get the compliments for my outfit, they call me a sharp dresser (helmet to fit ofcourse).

I love the way this little movie / rider profile is shot, great riding and even greater filming!
I know I said it before, but we really need to start filming with Tjeerd’s GoPro!
Yeah I know another mountain bike movie….. But this one is to good to be through.
Found on mtbisokay!
Well like Votske said in a post before this one, Vince and I told you guys that fixed gear mountain biking is gonna be the next BIG thing. It’s done for years, mostly with brakes. It was still a niche kind of thing but that’s gonna change!
Through Zlog!
I love going downhill and Steelhead posted a link to the Klunkerz of Paris. And I had to post that shit over here to. So here it is Klunkerz of Paris:
And the original with my good fiend Gary Fisher:
