Another frame for the wish-list! (pun intended)
Although I know I’ll get a new Leader frame for free if I break my Trick Star, I must admit I really like the new to come All City Def Wish. You might have seen it on several other blogs, but I still wanted to give you my opinion.
It comes with 14 mm dropouts with spacers if you still ride wit 10 mm axles, like me…
But the best feature on this frame are the non-dimpled chain stays! As All City says it:

Bottom line: a dimpled tube just isn’t going to be as strong as a fully round tube.  With this in mind we designed around using an inside stay tire clearance dimple. The Def Wish fits a 29X2.0 tire slammed in the dropouts and without sacrificing rear end strength.

The Def Wish will be released in March for around $360. Decent price for a decent frame if you ask me…

More pics and info on the All City blog.

Michael Chacon got a nice interview on the Nike Sportswear website. It’s a shame I didn’t see him ride at the BFF Paris contest…

Sunday I posted about how refreshing it was to see a nice edit of somebody just mashing through traffic, and now there’s another clean edit of Rudy Melo riding his Leader!
It’s about time Skitch, the Fuccit boys and I make a nice edit, showing the Arnhem hills to the rest of the world!

This is the second bikecheck of a complete Leader Mordecai. I was first a BIG Shadow fan, but seeing this one and the one I posted Saturday, I must admit that the Mordecai looks great! Same tire clearance as the Shadow, but with classic straight tubing…
Lets just hope my v2 doesn’t break, ’cause right now, I wouldn’t know hat frame to choose.
This setup was build by/for Matt Spencer, with these parts:

Cog: Bens Cycle 12t
Straps: Phoenix
Hubs: F: Odyssey Vandero 2 R: All City Sheriff
