I think we can say the Arnhem Uphill Alleycat was a great succes! I had a great time being 2 checkpoints and being the “arsehole” that wanted to see everybody’s marble, flyer and manifest before they could get their sticker! After the race Skitch, Pieter, Ab and another guy from Utrecht (sorry, I didn’t get your name) went to check some secret dirts in the woods close to my last checkpoint, and the dirts looked great! No 700cmx material, that was a shame… Funny thing was the naked guy walking through the woods, acting like it was totally normal…
After the race we all had pizza and drank lot’s of beer, all for the good cause!
Le Haute had an auction for the same good cause (Tour for Life) as well, and I got a really nice sticker collection. Followed by more beer drinking for the good cause…

It’s time I’ll be doing an alleycat of my own any time soon, haven’t done that for way too long!

Anybody with a bit of knowledge of bmxing, knows Chad DeGroot. He can do anything, riding flatland, street and vert!
Today I found some pics of him riding fixed as well at Prolly‘s. He found it at the Subrosa site. LeHaute is now riding a Subrosa as well, will we see him doing tricks like this too?

Well it was not like we hoped it would be. So all I say is fuccit here it is:

So tonight at 23:00 you hopefully see the two co-founders of FUCCIT on Dutch national television. On Ned 3 as a item in the news, 90 seconds!
This morning the cameraman and a journalist came to our home town and interviewed Vincent, myself and a guy (Sander was his name I believe) from Amsterdam. Probably you will only see the guy from Amsterdam because Vincent was talking about that his company wouldn’t allow messengers on fixed gear bikes. And he is right! Although he really likes to ride his in his spare time. I’m probably to old and looked like a guru with my grey beard. And could only trackstand so no high speed racing through traffic with dangerous skidding for me. And then we are left with a guy from Amsterdam, a real messenger who works for Infinity Express (I believe), where they all ride brakeless. And does that shit all day. I mean riding ridiculous hard through the city centre of Amsterdam (with all the tourists) on a brakeless fixie. And for the first time in his life wore a helmet. So we gonna see him for 90 whole seconds.
And still it was good fun though. And Sander we will see each other over three months again when your holiday in France is over.

I have to thank the people from Tour de Ville and Mr. Le Haute for organizing a motherfucking badass alleycat yesterday! I never rode that bad in an alleycat, and got lost so many times, but i had a very nice night! The Food & Design checkpoint had some very tasty and cold beers waiting for me, so i stayed there for half an hour. There should be more alleycats with bars as a checkpoint, since i’m always one of the last people to finish, so i better have a good reason to finish last (read: drink beers at checkpoints and talk to beautiful ladies).
And the afterparty had the best 1,- euro cocktails ever! Skitch, Prince Bram IV and i got very drunk on those! Had a hell of a time with some friendly locals and the guy from Cinelli!

Since MalleT hasn’t got any internet the coming 10 days, and Le Haute has moved himself to the background for a while, it’ll be up to me to fill this blog with fixed gear nonsense the coming 10 days. I’ll try my upmost best to keep up the good work MalleT posts here on a daily base.

Thanks to Le Haute and Kimi for letting me use their kitchen to prepair this decent meal for them! It’s chicken pesto with fennel, fresh garlic and sundried tomatoes, with roseval potatoes from the oven and homemade sundried tomatoe mayonaise. It was almost “Le Haute Cuisine”…
This post has got nothing to do with bike polo, fixies what so ever, but since 3 out of 4 posting FUCCIT members where at the table, and Special Ed joined in as well, I thought it was worth a post. Thanks for a nice night!

Because our good friend Vincent is a messenger for (over) 13 years he is organizing a alleycat to celebrate the fact he’s still alive. The alleycat consist of 3 races during the night of 13 march. It starts, 20:30 at Singelstraat 81.
