So this weekend we go the the Ardennes at the invitation of the nice people of TdV.

All the guys and girls bring there bikes for some serious racing and mountainbiking. But now I got a problem, which one should I take with me?

Should I go fixed mountainbiking?

On this one?

Or take it easy and only do the downhills on this one.

The Urban Bikepolo Tournament at the ECMC in Eindhoven was a big succes. Because of the large group of players ready to go we could even start 45 minutes early. At 18:14 we could announce a winner. The system had three teams starting in every poule so every team would play at least 2 matches. With only the first going through after we finally ended with teams playing for places 5-6, 3-4 and 1-2. We had 18 Teams entering the competition and overall winners are TEAM BASEL.

(the team that originally ended in second place were DQ-ed because one of their players was not registered at the ECMC)

This friday is our first organised Urban Bike polo Tournament. All mallets are built, mutiple balls are bought, whistle and referee’s outfit are ready, schedule is checked, teams have registered. It’s safe to say that we’ve done the best we can to make it a nice day with some fine polo at the ECMC 2008. Let the games begin…

So far, several teams have registered for the Bikepolo Tournament on friday 25th of july. We’ll keep a list here so you can see that your equipe has already been taken seriously. A lot of fun is to be expected but the big prizes are still at the unknown sponsorcompanies. The games commence at 12:00 on the TU-terrein (next to the ECMCregistration). The teams so far:

FUCCIT is organizing the Urban Bikepolo Tournament during the ECMC 2008 in Eindhoven. Last weekend we finally found a polo court where we can play our favorite game. I must say, it isn’t the nicest ground surface but it’s the best we could find. The event will be hosted on the course near the campsite, there is cheap beer and music will also be provided.

By the way: Mallets are taken care of by FUCCIT but feel free to bring your own.

FUCCIT is proud to be asked to organise the Bike polo Tournament at the coming ECMC in Eindhoven. This side-event will take place on friday 25th of July 2008. This weekend we will check out some spots where we can play. So we keep you guys posted about that.
