Critical Film – A documentary about a very special weekend of cyclo cross racing. It only took 126 km of dirt, gravel and cobblestones devided in 4 stages between Dresden and Leipzig, 80 racers, 9 hours, 35°C, 600 liters of water, a ton of food, a world cup quarterfinal and many many enthusiastic souls, to make this an unbelievable experience.
They call it “CRITICAL DIRT – A study in crossification”.
e r t z u i ° film has captured this event along the dirt with our very own perspective.
Music: Tortoise – Ten Day Interval (TNT, 1998)
The guys that brought you Fixed City, now have a new project going on, Critical Dirt, and it looks amazing! I still have to see the Fixed City Doc, as I just found out, I only posted the Berlin premiere vid last year. I might try to get both movies to come to Arnhem for the AMS-RBX-PRS premiere!
WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES

And they made a video edit of the final game of last Sunday’s tournament!
Damn last year I was complaining about the lack of halloween alleycats here in Holland. So I organized one myself. And that was a great success! And now there are two of them on friday you can go to Rotterdam.

And then on saturday you can go to Amsterdam.

And all I have to say is FUCCIT!
I’m going to Berlin!
17th Halloween Alley Cat Race – 31.10.2009 – Start 21:00

Found on Aurora, and they have a blog of their own as well.
To the Russian television!
My mom and dad are so proud.
And thanks Mo for the link!
Ripped this movie from the internet, ECMC 2009 Berlin. You see us playing bike polo and for the first time ever Mitch can get out of his tooclips on time!
A game of bike polo you have to take some other measures to keep you opponent from winning.

Phil, I’m sorry but you guys were to good for us!
Pica credis, ucp_berlin’s also more pictures from Berlin.
Well I just came back from Berlin and damn it’s hard to get started with your normal life after a week of partying. But I have to make some posts because the live bloggin thing didn’t work out like I hoped. Anyway I’ll keep it short and post some pictures. There not really great (all taken with the iPhone) only from people I already miss and love.
- Maria, Hattara, friendly guy from LA and Mo at Keirin. And in between Hattara and Mo there is a reflection of some really handsome guy from the Netherlands.
- Hiske I didn’t see for years and still one of the nicest girls from Copenhagen. And of course Buffalo Bill from London, have not much to say about him only that he sucks in playing bike polo.
- Andrew one of my favorite Berlin guys. Right now he is of to Toronto to work for Nadir and I want to wish him all the best!
- I got a couple of good friends over in Copenhagen but this is one of the best. Angus love you and please say hi to Charlotte from me.
- Well Kym who doesn’t love this girl? I do for sure and see you next year when I’m visiting New York.
- Another picture of Kym, yes why not. But I didn’t got a picture of Austin standing in the back on the left. So that makes this picture a legitimate one to post.
- Pretty boy Luk who doesn’t like this guy?
- What can I say about this guy? It’s my best friend from Amsterdam!
- James not to confuse him with the other one. In my last hour of my visit to Berlin he visited me at Keirin. Was really good to have spoken with you and good luck with your new found love!
- Our French connection in the middle.
- Right after opening his shop (Cicli Berlinetta) he is already drinking beer. ;-)
- Bregan one of the main organizers and Alasdair a old friend from London now living in Berlin checking out Bregan’s new bike.
- It was such a nice guy when he was still working in Limburg. And look at him now, he moved to Amsterdam. But he finally got his scar.
- Zorro, know him for years and it’s always good to see him. Berlin’s longest and hardest working messenger.
- One of the Tokyo guys. Always a pleasure to meet them!
- I saw this bike at Cicli Berlinetta and really liked it. But I think I’m the only one. So Dustin what was the price?
- Michael is trying to bunny hop a cable???
- The only picture I got from Nora. Look how see is smiling!
And at last I want to thank a couple of people because I didn’t got pictures of all of you guys. Or the quality was to poor to post.
Anyway I wanna thank Uli for letting me stay at his place even when he had to go. I also stayed at Miguel’s place and he was the main organizer of the polo event so thanks bro! And then we got Mo, Maria, Gary, Jenz, Mark, Phil, Dustin, Austin, Kym, Lucas, Zorro, Alasdair, Buffalo Bill, Hiske, Flip, Angus (beaver), Jumbo, Copter, Austin (Copenhagen), Andrew, Ricky, Taka, Porno Stevie, Luk, Bregan, Kai, RFG crew (specially Saskia) and last but not least the guys from FUCCIT! And all the other guys and girls who made my week one big party but from who I forgot there names.
THANKS!
