Queensday is the biggest street party in Amsterdam which takes place every year on 30th April.
But not only in Amsterdam it’s the biggest party in the whole of fuccing Holland. And it start always the night before so yesterday I went out and met one of our dearest readers. And he asked me if he could sing a song for you guys. Although it has nothing to do with bicycles who am I to refuse?
And now I’m gone cause it’s another day of drinking beer and feel pathetic!
It’s to cold for me but it looks like a great alleycat. And the ‘beer drinking’ format I like!
The Stupor Bowl is Largest Alley Cat Race in the Country. It takes place in Minneapolis, Minnesota every year the day before the super bowl. There are 2 versions of the race. The Speed race which is just fastest biker wins and the Stupor Race with entails that you drink a beer at each checkpoint.
Finally a bike part that could have been invented by FUCCIT! Swarm is bringing you the Nectar, a hybrid between a seat clamp and a bottle opener. I like!

I found this great device on Prolly. No more need for a lighter or some table or other hard edge to open your beer, right now you can just open it with the Road Popper!
The Road Popper is a bike-mounted bottle opener that we developed for our own use and decided afterward to share. We designed it to fasten discreetly to the rails on the underside of the saddle to help keep your bike looking crisp. So far, it’s worked on all the bottle caps we’ve tried it on. I think we can say the Arnhem Uphill Alleycat was a great succes! I had a great time being 2 checkpoints and being the “arsehole” that wanted to see everybody’s marble, flyer and manifest before they could get their sticker! After the race Skitch, Pieter, Ab and another guy from Utrecht (sorry, I didn’t get your name) went to check some secret dirts in the woods close to my last checkpoint, and the dirts looked great! No 700cmx material, that was a shame… Funny thing was the naked guy walking through the woods, acting like it was totally normal…
After the race we all had pizza and drank lot’s of beer, all for the good cause!
Le Haute had an auction for the same good cause (Tour for Life) as well, and I got a really nice sticker collection. Followed by more beer drinking for the good cause…

It’s time I’ll be doing an alleycat of my own any time soon, haven’t done that for way too long!

This is the way we like to do things at Fuccit. Cycling is oke but stopping for a nice cold beer is even better!
