Yesterday the weather was really shitty, but Skitch and I wanted to ride anyway. So we went to one of the only dry places in Arnhem where you don’t get kicked away. We had lotsa fun with our ghetto jump ramp!

Arnhem/Amsterdam got another girl running wild on a fixed gear!
We build this Batavus Pro Pursuit frame (one of only three ever made) for Josine, Skitch’s girlfriend, since the frame was too small for him, but fitted her perfectly. The handlebars have been cut another 2 inches at both sides, so the looks have been improved after the photo has been shot. As soon as the bike is back in Arnhem, I’ll take a new pic.
One of the great things about Arnhem, is the fact that the cycling community is one love.
BMX-ers and 700CMXers share the same spots, ride the same places and both like to wreck their bikes and themselves.
Seen a lot of scenes where that ain’t the case. So I’m glad I can enjoy my riding sessions with either 700CMXers or BMXers!
This lovely looking German is looking for an appartement in Zwolle, Kampen or Arnhem. So if anyone might know something, please let me know! And ask your friends, family, co-workers if they might know something. He got a job in Kampen, but is still living in Southern Germany, not quite handy, is it? So help us turn this German into a proper Dutchy! And his lovely girlfriend and baby boy…
Thanks!
Critical Film – A documentary about a very special weekend of cyclo cross racing. It only took 126 km of dirt, gravel and cobblestones devided in 4 stages between Dresden and Leipzig, 80 racers, 9 hours, 35°C, 600 liters of water, a ton of food, a world cup quarterfinal and many many enthusiastic souls, to make this an unbelievable experience.
They call it “CRITICAL DIRT – A study in crossification”.
e r t z u i ° film has captured this event along the dirt with our very own perspective.

The guys that brought you Fixed City, now have a new project going on, Critical Dirt, and it looks amazing! I still have to see the Fixed City Doc, as I just found out, I only posted the Berlin premiere vid last year. I might try to get both movies to come to Arnhem for the AMS-RBX-PRS premiere!

Yesterday Kimmie, Skitch and I went to see the graduation show of the ArtEZ product design departement. I really like the idea of the bike bag made by Saskia Korver! And besides the good idea, it looks good too! Today is the last chance to go and see it in real life, but if you don’t live in Arnhem, you can always check her site!
Today is the Dutch qualifier for the World Hardcourt Bike Polo Worldchampionships here in Arnhem!
So that means no posts today I guess, ’cause Skitch is playing with Schilham and Thomas as “Grizzly and and the Teddybears” ans MalleT, Le Haute and I will be playing as the “FUCCIT Old Fuccs”. If you’re lucky, Kimmie or Kyllee will post something, or else you’ll have to wait till tomorrow for a new post…
I’ll leave some good music to listen to for everybody that has got nothing better to do on their Sunday:
Skitch his Sunday afternoon music:
Josine’s (Skitch his wife, sorry ladies, he is taken) Sunday afternoon music:
Just like last year “iet giet oan!” (it’s going to happen!).
