Or it is the booze (Alzheimer’s disease). But last year there was an expo about the fixed gear shit in Amsterdam at Mediamatic called Sur Place. And apparently a Dutch newspaper made a little movie about the trent of riding fixed gear. They talk Dutch so that means ‘a lot of bullshit’.

Q: What’s the basic difference with a normal bike?
A: You got almost no rolling resistance.

I don’t know the details, but since when does the Netherlands stop after Eindhoven? I’m missing some old school FUCCIT players in this list. Where’s Schilham? Where’s Mitch? Where’s Le Haute?
Then again, I don’t know if they have been asked to join, but these three FUCCIT players are some of the best Holland has to offer…
And doesn’t Utrecht, Zwolle and Amsterdam play polo on a regular base too?
I’m not looking for another beef in the Dutch polo scene, but I couldn’t help noticing the total absence of the rest of the Dutch players.

Sunday Skitch, Josine and I went to Amsterdam (well Skitch was already at Josine’s in Amsterdam since Friday) to be filmed for the new video for the band The Cut/Up. We had a lot of fun riding through the outer skirts of Amsterdam and being filmed. Being a video star is tough work! We had to do film several scenes tons of times, every time from a different angle etc. But why complain when you get to go to Amsterdam at the expense of the band and ride all day when the sun is out!
