I know my fellow FUCCIT posters don’t like it when I re-post FGFS videos that have been all over the blogs, and they don’t like the fact I’m getting sponsored these days…
So to be able to keep re-posting the videos I like, and to be able to show you the shit I get for free, just to be riding my bikes, I created a new blog: “Votske™”.
So to keep FUCCIT re-post and sponsor shit free, and to keep “Votske™ loves Ass!” cycling free, coz I guess not all sponsors wanna relate to that kinda shit, I’m keeping things separated .
Both my other blogs can be found in the “Messenger links and friends” part on the right.
Enjoy!
Keng of the Faster Than You Crew is coming to Arnhem this Saturday, who else is joining us for a Spot the Spot session?
Amsterdam? Rotterdam? Eindhoven? Zwolle?
2 weekends ago I was a model for famous Dutch skateboard photographer Eric van Rijsingen. He wanted photos of me for his new to come website. I’ll show the rest of the pics the day that his website goes online…
I heard Bram Schilham is added to Team Benelux, and after seeing the “making of the trophy” video, you guys better bring it back to Holland!
It’s time for another big alleycat in Arnhem! I guess we’ll have to think of something…
After some beers at the after “party” of Schilham’s goodbye alleycat we came to the conclusion I shouldn’t keep my frustrations inside of me, but ventilate them through FUCCIT.
So here we go!
Loyal followers of FUCCIT might know I was the main organizer of last year’s AMS-RBX-PRS ride. I won’t take all the credits, coz I had the help of some other guys. I did put a shitload of time and effort in organizing the trip. I was jobless at the time, so I had all the time in the world to put into this project I and Keng were the creators of. The trip was far from perfect, but hey, it was the first time for me to organize a group ride for a 20+ person group. Keeping that in mind, I think I/we did a pretty good job. During the trip and after, I was open to receive any criticism people had about my organizing qualities.
But besides my route planning skills, I didn’t get any direct criticism.
Here starts the ugly part…
Two of my fellow organizers, T.B. and J.S., and of one the riders, H.C. decided to found an organisation called Plus31 for the 2011 edition of the trip, without contacting me. (Or Keng, but I don’t wanna drag any other people into this discussion).
Without contacting me, they decided the 2011 edition will be going from Amsterdam to Copenhagen…
Ok, cool. Never been there, so why not.
At that moment I gave notice of the fact I felt kinda left out of my own idea by those two guys founding an organisation without me knowing about it and them deciding where the 2011 edition would ride to.
If it was up to me, we would have gone to Paris again, stopping at the finish of the 2011 Paris – Roubaix along the way. But after a long talk to both T.B. and H.C. they told me, I would get more involved into the Plus31 organisation. I got a full-time job these days, so sharing the load of organisation of such a big event wouldn’t be a bad idea. Since that talk in September 2010, I didn’t hear shit about the whole project. Both T.B. and H.C. told me they’ld contact me for the next Plus31 meeting. Again, never heard shit.
Till a few days ago… Via via I heard they were in an advanced stadium of the organisation of the Amsterdam – Copenhagen ride.
Thank you guys for involving me! The least you could have done was having the guts to tell me in my face that you wanna do the event without my help. I still would have been angry, but at least you would have shown some class, balls or guts.
I guess it’s the lack of that class / balls/ guts that’s pissing me off even more than the disrespect you’re showing.
So good luck raping MY concept.
As you might have guessed, I won’t be showing up for the ride, or even wanna be remotely involved in anything that has to do with the 2011 trip.
I can’t speak for the other FUCCIT posters, but I can say you won’t read a single post about the 2011 event or any side projects / events written by me here on FUCCIT.
To all the FUCCIT readers, good luck finding info about it on any other fixed blog. But if you’re thinking about joining them, now you know what kind of back stabbers the organizers are…
Sincerely yours,
Votske
Update for Tjeerd:
I guess I feel about the same as this girl will be feeling in a minute:
Death or Glory‘s been a while ago, but today I found a pic of Mitch doing what we think is a nollie up the wembley…
It’s a cool pic, coz it looks like he could be doing a nosebonk 180 too. But since we both know he can’t do that trick (yet), we came to the conclusion it must be a nollie.
Found at Léonard Porché’s Facebook.
BAM!!!
As you might have noticed in the comments area, Irene from the Deadly Nightshades has been visiting our lovely blog a few times lately. I already posted about them a while ago, but I’m advising you to go visit them again. They write a nice blog.
And they even wrote a little bit about us!
