Dutch kiddos used to grow up with strange ideas on bikes and women. This might very well be the main reason why Tjeerd and I wanted to ride in nature on big round shapes… I mean 29′er wheels

Let’s go for a ride, one of these days…

I prefer to remember that back in da days nobody would dare to refer to me as being a postbode, the horror. A simple mailman could do a daily round delivering letters, not necessarily in a hurry. As where the topnotch bikemessenger would ride his bike in highspeed all day delivering packages, doing errands and making sure the envelope would be on time all the time and with the certainty of delivery by appointment. But apparently things have changed since I stopped cause nowadays the people at Cycloon have become mailmen?!

You know how we love to say Fuccit and mostly try to write things other blogs don’t. I received mail from Bernd Wagner on my Haute Blog asking if I could keep te memory alive on Walter Rütt. Only strange thing about the link in his mail is that I don’t get to see the impressive riding of a young man but a video on how the Rütt-Velodrome was burnt down to the ground. Sad but true story.

You all scream for Bikeporn, so I got you some of both. And don’t you just love the Schwinn Traveler in this oldskool story. No worries for de buitenlandse kijkertjes: no lyrics, just fancy music. Wonder though of this will make it more SFW.

The next video has got nuttin’ to do wif fgfs, nuttin’ to do wif bikeporn, nuttin’ to do wif personal beef nor frustrations, nuttin’ to do wif messengers, nuttin’ to do wif urban bicycle polo, nuttin’ to do wif nuttin’. Nuttin’, nix, nakkes, nada, zero, zilch and that’s what I like about it. Fuccit!

So, what does one get into when having weekend. Let me tell you what I like to do. Taking the fact that I’m a person who likes to help other people, most of my spare time I help girls learn how to ride a bicycle. It may sound funny to you but it helps them to become more selfsupporting so that they can go to the store by themselves and buy shitloads of beer while I help new girls to ride their bikes. Ahhh well, you get the idea, in the end we all celebrate the fact we can ride bikes by drinking beers, gezellig nietwaar?
