Being a bikemessenger is a way of life, they say. To some couriers it’s just a job. And when your job looks pretty cool, other people tend to follow the trend. They dress up like a bikemessenger wearing the same clothes/outfits, riding a fixed gear bike, carrying their personal belongings in a slingbag and sometimes even enter the competition of an alleycat. But when you don’t work as a courier on a bicycle some “real bikemessengers” might start calling you a fakenger. Or posenger. We from FUCCIT think that’s a load of crap. Or bullshit. Anyone who looks like a courier, hell, even is a courier, is welcome to join our team. We play urban bikepolo, organise alleycats, used to be bikemessengers and still are Haute Courier. And if there ever was a community or a way of life to it, it was probably about having fun and saying FUCCIT to those people denying it.
If you want your website linked let us know.
And you can find us every sunday playing polo on a playground in Arnhem (the Netherlands) from 14:00 till drunk or daylight runs out.
