Both Prolly and ZLOG pointed me out to the website of Actual Pain. They make a nice collection of tees, wife beaters and vests, all with occult prints on ‘m. And they got a huge collection of free mixtapes, ready for you to download!
Make sure to stay a while on their frontpage, it’s well made!

Josine (Skitch’s gf) was really glad she found a vintage Brooks Colt, and I was really jealous, ’cause imho, the Colt is one of Brooks’ best looking saddles. But thank god, Brooks re-released the Colt! This is the information I found on Prolly:

I was going to do a little write up about the significance of the Brooks Colt saddle but Bens Cycle already did a bang-up job:

First produced in 1979, the Colt became famous among Brooks fans for its strength and durability. The Colt was discontinued amidst mysterious circumstances occurring with the sale of Brooks in 2001, but still remains a common sight on roads and avenues around the globe, a testament to its aforementioned qualities. Oddly many a Colt found its home atop BMX bicycles during this time, an unusual deployment for a Brooks saddle, but certainly not inappropriate.

Today the Colt will appeal to a new generation already romanced by the 80′s retro look, and will therefore be introduced in colours that will appeal to this younger, style-conscious demographic. The Colt is now available in Black, Violet, and Mustard, with Pink and Turquoise being presented at Eurobike 2010. The vibrant colours are achieved through natural vegetable dyes, as are all leathers in the Brooks product line.

I had one on my mountain bike in college and it took a real beating. I’m half considering mounting one on my Bruiser. Joking of course. Grab one here!

The bike was updated with a brand new NOS Selle San Marco Integra, with No Slip System. Got absolutely no clue how it works, but I really like the fact that this saddle doesn’t have rails, but they are integrated into the design of the saddle. Now let’s see how it will hold up…

Welcome to the D.A.M.P. Bicycles Butterbean contest

We’re looking for a good rider to join our small but lovely FGFS family. At the moment we have the twins Mårten and Jakob riding the Butterbean.

So what’s the deal?

As we wrote above we’re looking for a rider to join our FGFS family. We’d like to give all you non-sponsored riders out there a chance to ride one of our Butterbean framesets.

To enter the contest you should make a video edit (maximum 2 minutes) of yourself riding at your best. Don’t worry if you don’t know your way around video editing software as Adobe Premiere, After Effects or similar software, we’re not looking at your skills behind the computer, we’re looking for a great rider. It’s always nice with a cool edit, but we promise you that it’s your riding we’ll be looking at.

A little bit about the frame

Together with Mårten and Jakob we first started developing this frame in December 2009 and we now feel that we’re close to perfection. Ok maybe not perfection as the FGFS scene constantly develops and new demands pop up every now and then. But at the moment we’d like to say that the Butterbean is among the best frames. The last part is probably something just about every brand would say about their frame, so you just have to take our word for it.

Rules

  1. The contest is only open for riders that’s NOT already sponsored by a bicycle frame manufacturer

  2. Contest is for one D.A.M.P. Butterbean frame and fork, runner up will receive a couple of t-shirts

  3. Only the rider in the winning edit wins a Butterbean frame/fork, the person behind the camera will receive a one time 15% off discount on any of our frames

  4. The edit may be max 2 min long. Upload your video edit to Vimeo or YouTube and send us the link, let us know if you don’t have a Vimeo or YouTube account and we’ll figure something out.

  5. To avoid “scams” please add the following text somewhere in your edit: “D.A.M.P. Butterbean contest – Rider name”

  6. The winner will be chosen by our riders Mårten and Jakob, our favorite photographer Boon, Per and Marcus @ D.A.M.P. Bicycles

  7. Submissions are due by August 14th

  8. Remember that Dreams Are Made by Pedaling

Submission and questions?

Send your submissions and questions about the contest to the email address below:
contest@bikesbydamp.com

No time to waste! Turn off your computer and get on your bike and ride!

Thanks
